This is not about divorce, but about how it feels when parents fight. In glowing pictures of grays and blues, ochres and browns, the little badger experiences terrible fear when his parents fight: 'It gets dark and I am lost. It gets cold and I shiver. Mighty monsters make me quiver.' But when they are friends: 'I am safe. I am warm in a cosy nest. I am happy. I am precious.' This may be more aimed at parents than children. It is certainly explicit in its use of language and picture - both very beautiful.
