A smashing picture book with two little animals learning to use the loo. Ducky (who wears a nappy) wants to play with Piggy, but Piggy is busy on the potty. Ducky plays by him (or her) self for a while, then has another go at Piggy, who still refuses to come out. Ducky then begins to realise that his (or her) nappy feels cold and wet, and in an excess of exuberance, takes it off and kicks it across the floor. Knocking on the bathroom door, Ducky demands to use the potty too, and Piggy, after washing his hands, lets him (or her) in. Then it is Piggy's turn to be impatient at the length of time that Ducky is on the potty. This is really clever and lets the little duck makes the decision about when to jettison the nappy. The illustrations are gorgeous - big white spaces with each animal centre stage on the page. This should motivate any child to want to learn to use a potty!
