A very simple story about the arrival of a new baby. The little boy and his parents get ready, pack mum's bag, welcome gran to look after the little boy, and then get the happy news that the baby is a girl. The little boy visits mum in hospital and meets the baby, telling her he is her 'BIG' brother. He likes her soft hair and that she smells nice, but she takes a long time feeding (we see both bottle and breast) and sleeps too much! He helps with the baby, but must put up with her crying at night. We see her grow and learn to enjoy his games. The photographs and speech bubbles help tell the story in a fun and quirky style. There is a note for adults, giving further suggestions about preparing children for a new sibling.
